The service offered to clients is a 4 to 6 week athletic training program. This will be scientifically structured and based on a one-hour analysis session comprising a complete anaerobic threshold and VO2 assessments, body mass assessment (additional) and sport science information.

For the assessment, it is suggested that you wear sport specific clothing. A heart rate monitor will be worn (provided) and a comfortable, lightweight breathing mask will be placed over your mouth and nose. You will begin with a warm-up and then perform a graded test. The assessment will be undertaken on a treadmill or cycle ergometer. After a warm-down your training program will be prepared and the heart rate based training protocols explained to you.

As the training intensity during your workouts will be based on heart rate it is essential that you wear a heart rate monitor while exercising. ATP offers you the option to purchase a monitor at the time of your assessment as we are stockists of the major brand - POLAR.

ATP will offer five packages according to the clients' current fitness level and personal goals:

Weight Management Package - £55.00:
The fitness Program is tailored to those focused on losing weight and following a healthier lifestyle. The program will begin with an assessment followed by customized weekly cardiovascular and strength routines, guidance and facts on diet and healthy eating. The custom made program will specifically break down the frequency, length, type and level of difficulty of every work out in order to produce the best and fastest results.

Beginners Package - £60.00:
This fitness package is tailored to those that are working out for the first time or have not worked out in several years. The program will begin with an assessment, followed by a detailed orientation that addresses aerobic exercise, strength, flexibility and nutrition for the fastest, easiest, most successful way to improve overall health and fitness.

Performance Enhancement - Sports Package - £65.00:
This fitness program is designed for those individuals that have been actively working out, but are now at a plateau and looking for a jump-start to their current routine. An assessment will be followed by a customised program that will take you to a new level of fitness as you keep advancing towards your fitness goals.

Performance Enhancement - Elite Package - £65.00:
This fitness program is for the serious athlete. Those who are looking for a specific day to day customised training program for triathlons, marathons or any endurance sport. This program will put you in excellent shape in order to achieve your goal. Get the edge you need to beat your competition, and improve your overall performance.

Group Package - Price on application:
This is a program for teams, squads, as well as families and friends who may (like to) work out together. Each individual will receive their personal assessment and customised workout program. This program will cover aerobic exercise, strength, flexibility, and nutrition. You will quickly learn how to work out correctly and more efficiently for your individual body type.

Body mass assessment - £10.00 when undertaken in conjunction with one of the above anaerobic threshold and VO2 assessments: This assessment is to calculate body density and body fat. At ATP measurements are taken from 7 points on the body using skinfold callipers. A skinfold assessment provides consistant and meaningful information reflecting body fat changes before and after the training program.
